Water Pump

Recently purchased a 2018 sprindale 2980..I cannot find the waterpump to save my life..i know it is near the master bc i can hear it however I see no access door or panel to take off to get to it. Just looking to see if someone could help me find it.

Do you see a carpeted box next to the bed? It's likely under that. In my Cougar trailer, the top of the box just lifts off, but I've heard others say they need to remove screws before it comes off.

Do you have under bed storage? The top of my water pump box slides into the under bed storage to gain access to the pump.

There may be access from under the bed storage area. There may be access from the rear wall of the front passthrough area. If there is no access in either of those areas, then you'll need to "find those screws in the carpet"...

One way to do that is to take a small magnet, tie it to a piece of thread and slowly pass it over the carpeted box. As you do, you'll notice that it "pulls in one direction"... That's the direction of the screw, so focus your search to the carpet in that area. All of the screws are #2 Roberts head (square drive) screws.

There is usually a thin "L" shaped wall in the front pass thru that is held in place by 1 or 2 screws on either end of the L. The pump should be behind there.

They were not easily accessible when I was trying to gain access to mine for winterization last year. I sent you a PM.

Mine is in the bedroom as well. I have to lift up the under bed storage lid. Then I can lift the carpeted area lid thing that is on top of the water pump. No screws or anything but it definitely won't budge with the mattress lid sitting on top of it.

My underbed storage only lifts up and has a 3ft storage then is walled off for the underpass storage..There is 2 screws i see through my small compartment door side on the underpass storage that go into a small 1x1 piece of wood that stands verticle..Maybe if i unscrew those it will release that L shaped wall blocking the pump..

Yes, that is what is holding the "L" shaped wall in place on one end. The other end of the "L" will also have a screw or two.

I made my own using the tubing and Flojet ports found in the links below. I had some tubing clamps on hand.

I initially purchased a winterization kit, but it would not fit the Flojet water pump.

Mine is under the box in the bedroom and accessed via the outside storage area. I remove one screw and have access.

Mine was also under the side carpeted area next to the bed on the water inlet side. It took a couple of tries to get it loose ( along with a nicely scraped knuckle) the screws were hiden under the carpet and weren't easy too see. (Keystone summerland 2200 mb) .

Mine is the same. Needed a magnet to find the screws the first time.
