Raptor Back Up Camera

It's true the Raptor can now be ordered with a backup camera from the factory, it has been out about a week now as an option. The system is a Garmin and does route planning to include height for low obstacle clearance, should be pretty cool.

Any other details on the camera? I've been looking around for one for mine.

If you go to the GARMIN website, there is an FAQ about connecting the wireless camera to the RV760. Essentially, what is required is a $17 A/V cable to connect the 760 to the video receiver, the camera/transmitter which costs $149 and probably the 50' camera extension cable ($30) to get the transmitter to the front end of the trailer.

Here's a link: https://support.garmin.com/support/s...-000000000000}

The prices quoted above are from the GARMIN site. I'm sure they are a bit cheaper from Amazon or EBay.

How do you get the camera to turn on? Our raptor came with a backup camera through a Garmin. We get a black screen with the lines when we try to activate it. We have the 2015 332ts raptor

Our Keystone has a switch in the garage next to the bed lift switch. Marked as camera on/off
Turns both backup and garage cams on

That is the Boyo system which is in the Fuzion. For information on the Raptor backup camera, check out this thread:

My raptor came with the model NUVI68 from the factory and after purchase I installed the optional BC-30 in the garage to see my toy while going down the road. No problems with it after about 9 months. Its nice to have a extra set of eyes looking out the back as you drive down the road. Ill have to see what they came up with on the new one.

Here is a thread on what I had to do to get it working in my 2015 Raptor 332TS.

No Garmin on backup camera now on 2018s, just an inexpensive Furrion with just a monitor screen. Of course I can't get them to pair either but it only is suppose to work only with the TV lights on. Seems like a 12v battery source would have been better.
