Winegard Carryout G2+

Just got mine and it was a real hassle to wire for Direct TV. I have an HR44 receiver. This is a newer receiver with SWM technology.
I needed to get the SWM840 kit. Its on the net for $50.00 to $250.00
The most frustrating thing was Winegard does not have a diagram on their site for the G2+ with this kit.
If anyone decides to get this unit here is a link to the correct wiring diagram.

Just trying to help

Re: Winegard Carryout G2+

I went with the King Quest. No real wiring needed. You just need an older receiver. I got the H24, which will work with SWM and non-SWM. At home I can connect to the SWM setup.

Re: Winegard Carryout G2+

I pulled my Winegard Carryout G2 off the roof of my motorhome and want to use it with my new Montana. The Winnebago was prewired for satellite with all the connections right at the TV. Any ideas on how to do this in a new Montana?
thanks...
