My Dometic 2652 issue, resolved.

I posted on the 14th of this month, about the issues we were having with our new Keystone Springdale. The dealer from where we purchased referred us to a local shop that is a authorized Dometic repair facility. Its been there about a week. Dometic had them jumping thru hoops, but they have resolved the issue. They have been great, with me getting updates on a near daily basis.
This morning they called, the refrigerator is faulty and the unit is being replaced. The bad news is, Dometic is only willing to cover 1 hour of diagnostic time, and an hour to R&R the refrigerator. But, they contacted Keystone, and Keystone is covering the R&R of the new refrigerator.
The interesting thing is, (or disturbing) The dealership where I purchased the unit, had not yet registered the sale of my trailer. Seems like 3 months should of been long enough for the sale to have been registered, but it is, what it is.

I had to pay the repair facility 355 bucks for the swap on the refer. They told me Keystone wold reimburse me, but I was skeptical. I called Keystone and got reassurance the reimbursement would happen.
Well, today I got my check in the mail!

My dealer didn't register anything either. They handed over a big bag of manuals and mentioned that the components were individually warrantied and that I should register them.

Good deal on Keystone covering the diagnostics/removal/reinstall... That's positive.

My dealer registered everything but the Dometic products.
That should have been a warning.
I would recommend you getting the extended warranty when the first 2 years runs out. Dometic should send you a letter to that effect, but....
