Good way to wash tank and clean sensors....put some water in...put some cleaner/soap in and go for a ride...the agitation can/will make suds. Usually not an issue if you don't overdo. I don't think "a couple of squirts" of Dawn would cause too many suds, I know 1/4 cup of Simple Green doesn't. But have heard hilarious stories of people who had "suds" coming up! Several good ones on IRV2, one from a guy who heard of using dishwashing soap, but used a 8oz bottle. No permanent harm done, but great story he has...

Back to the grind. Looking at the owners manual for Grand Design, no mention of any particular chemical or NOT to use GEO method.
