Gray tank

Good Day. Bullet 269RLS. I have to take it in for warranty work, plus the A/C wiring recall. But I have a question on the gray tank sensors and cleaning. We are residing in the trailer full for a year, due to getting a home built. I made the mistake of leaving the gray tank valve open full time, for a very long time. My 1/3 sensor is all the time. I have tried various things, various chemicals, DAWN, etc. I cannot move the trailer, except for taking it in. I was going to ask the dealer to "clean" or flush the gray tank, in an effort to get the 1/3 light to go off. With that said, what might they do? I know I will have to, more than likely, pay for that service. Or would it better, if they have them, for the dealer to put in the HORST MIRACLE PROBES? And has any one used those probes? Thanks.

Gray tank

They will most likely use sensor cleaner or Dawn. Try one more time this way:

Make sure the water heater is up to temp. Plug kitchen sink and squeeze 14 bottle of Dawn ULTRA in the sink. Then run just hot water and fill sink about 1/2 way. Stir Dawn and then open sink drain. Continue running just the hot until it cools off, then shut it off. When water is back up to temp do it again and when it starts to cool just open both hot and cold until tank is full. Leave overnight, and then drain and leave valve open for about 10 minutes. Let me know what happens.

The factory probes are most likely "spun welded" into the tank so replacement would require drilling new holes next to the present ones. May prove a bit difficult depending on space.

The actual cause I assume is a permanent source of continuity that has formed between the two lower poles via a wet track left behind. Most likely a build up of soup scum that has not dried.
