Made a flagpole holder at tongue. Needed to store the pole somewhere, was thinking of the bumper. But it's all rusty and dusty with a welded seam on bottom, then it hit me coroplast! So I called my brother, problem solved!

Hope it works!

How are you keeping the end caps on? Mine wiggle loose just driving, and I suspect they'll soon be gone. Ha. Could drill and stick a pin through I suppose.

I just drilled a hole into the top and used a self tapping screw to go into the rubber. Had a new bumper put on and the caps are on real tight now no screws needed

I used two old metal BBQ skewers and two extra-small bungee cords. Poked the skewers through the hole in the bumper and through the rubber end piece from top to bottom. The tops of the skewers had a loop in them, hooked both ends of the bungee to the loop and stretched the bungee loop down and over the other end of the skewer on the bottom of the bumper.

If that doesn't make sense I'll take a pic tomorrow,,,,

Great idea for lining the bumper insides using the coroplast. For my bumper caps, I just drilled a hole thru the top and bottom of the bumper and the cap.
Then I took a piece of coathanger, cut it longer than the height of the bumper and put a bend in it.

Put the wire thru the bumper and cap, with the bend facing outwards. Never lost one yet.

For the flagpole mount, I used self tapping screws to attach a pipe repair clamp to the trailer frame. I got lazy and used JB Weld to hold nuts onto the ends of the clamp bolts so the wingnuts wouldn't unscrew and get lost.

Slip my flagpole into the clamp and tighten the wingnuts (that's not my flagpole...it's a shovel handle!). Isn't going anywhere. Last thing to do is paint it black.
