Liked this propane cover better
I'm not a fan of the propane cover on my Keystone. The hatch hinge fingers are brittle and snap off, and the hatch itself is too tiny to be useful. You can barely turn the selector finger through it, which isn't much help because you have to take the whole cover off first anyway to read the witness glass to find out if you need to switch tanks.
I really preferred the propane cover on my old rig (photo). The entire top section hinged back and you could see and reach anything you wanted. The hatch lid was solidly fastened by real hinges and wing-turn draw latches on the front, and was not going to leave without saying goodbye; plus the entire cover was held down by the central propane wingnut.
I went looking online for places selling this style cover, and struck out. The marketplace seems to be littered with units with these tiny top hatches.
Does anybody recognize the design in the photo, and have a source for them?
