This could easily become a "Oh yeah, well listen to this" thread, so here goes another one....

In Republic, Michigan, the mosquitoes are so big that the school busses have tail gunners to protect the kids riding to school.....

In Yupperese, "Ya don't need no huntin' license for dem buggers, eh?"

I have seen Florida mosquitos at Lake Okeechobee stand flat footed and assault Tom turkeys (plural)...

I use the mosquitoes by me for dressage horses. They're cheaper to feed. Just more painful.

Naval air weapons training at Fallon, NV. Pilots used to engage the mosquitos in dog fights. The tin benders had towed one into the hangar and were painting numbers on its tail before they realized it wasn't an A7.
