New tires

I just picked up the 5 new Carlisle 235/80R16 LRE tires I ordered from Walmart, ordered online at $77 each, shipped to local store. Each tire is date coded 5216, which is Dec 26, 2016-Jan 1, 2017. Not bad.... still newer than the tires (dated 5115) installed on the 2016 5r when we bought it last September.

I did same thing. Sold my old ones in great shape on craigslist for 150$. Someone was thrilled to get them with four years useful life. They were upgrading from d rated 8 ply tires.

The tires coming off will have about 300 miles on them... so yes, Craigslist, here they come! After we get back from our trip

Same thing I did with both 5th wheels. Sold the OEM tires to local cowboys for stock trailers. Good move on your part. I just put the same Carlisles on our Montana. They did well on the recent Houston to Virginia and back.
