This happened near our house...

I'm just grateful that no one was hurt. The area on the freeway where it happened is a winding stretch that is prone to gusts of wind. Just a reminder to be careful!

That intersection is just south of the rest area at Thompson Hill. The winds coming over that mountain and through the valley can be extremely dangerous. I've lost a couple of hats walking from the truck to the restroom at Thompson Hill. Glad nobody was hurt, but I'm guessing the owner will wind up with a new trailer (maybe a Keystone this time) and possibly a new truck.

One of the pictures shows coolers and gear attached to the RV on a rear cargo carrier. Couldn't see if there was sway control on the hitch either. That with the fact that the TV was an older generation short wheel base Durango with towing limits right around 7,000 lbs all led up to a perfect storm.

I kiss my Hensley every time she goes to work!
