A/C Size

Hi
I have a 2012 Keystone Cougar 276rls 5th wheel. Can any body tell me what BTU air conditioner I have (13,500 or 15,000), or were I can find the information.
Thanks

If your Cougar is close at hand, have a peek at the A/C to see if you can find a make and model number. You may have to take off the interior cover to see it OR there should be a build sheet from Keystone with that information on it. Once you have the model/serial number, you will be able to tell how many BTU's it is.

I would think that, unless you ordered an upgrade in the A/C, it would be 13500 BTU

Festus2 is correct. 13.5k btu A/C was a standard feature, and the 15k A/C was an "option"... so, you'll have check the A/C unit (itself) for serial/model # info.

Here's the 2012 Brochure which lists all the features & etc. http://mykeystonecougarrv.com/wp-con...tBrochure3.pdf

Hope this helps,
Terri, the Chevy co-pilot

Most likely a 13.5k BTU unit

Sometimes the larger one is an option, sometimes not. My dealer orders every trailer with the 15K because of location. You can guess and speculate till the cows come home, but the easy way is to look at the spec plate.
