I wonder if connected to a 3/4 GM bed & a 1/2 ton Ford make a 1 ton for that so called 1/2 ton towable rv.

LOL! That is double towing, as it is only a single point to the TV. So if traveling through a state that doesn't allow double towing not good.
Also first towed is what appears to be a ball hitch, and not allowed in most states that allow double towing.

The "business end" is a Ford, towing a dead GM, not surprising.
