2nd ac unit advise

2019 Cougar H/T TT 32RLI
Thinking of adding a front ac unit on my TT. I have the inCommand system. What do I need to connect to inCommand or would it be a major hassle? Better (and cheaper) to do a stand alone unit?

If your unit is “prewired”, then you should be able to install the second unit and use the in command. It will have to be the same brand as main AC. If you don’t care then any brand with plenum controls will work.

I don’t have to buy an inCommand attachment of any sort? It should just wire into the new ac controls?

I haven’t looked at a unit with “in command” so I’m not sure what you would need at the second unit. I believe there is a thread that explains what all you need.

Here is a good thread on what’s needed and how to install and link it to inCommand...
