Emergency window leak

We have a 2019 keystone outback, we noticed we have a slow drip in our bedroom emergency exit. It is in the top center of the window pic attached. Should i just add silicone to the outsideor could this be a bigger issue. I was told not to add silicone as it is a emergency exit. The picture is inside looking out Thanks

Is that the outside of the window or is the window pictured from the inside?

If the window is sealed properly on the outside, can't imagine how water penetration would happen where the inside frame would leak. I would reseal the outside of that window and possibly other windows. If the seal on what is compromised, there may be others in need of sealing. Use something like this:

Window leak

Does it matter that it is an emergency exit? It has a hinge on the top of the window.

your only going to run the bead of sealant between the frame and the exterior wall of the trailer. Make sure its clean and run the bead alll the way across the top and down past the radius ( curved) ends.

Put some tape on either side of the vertical seam in the frame on the outside with about 1/8 between them and run a bead of silicone between them and smooth it to a shallow mound between the tapes. Make sure you try to push a little sealant into the seam. Before it sets remove the tapes. Had the same issue with a compartment door. Curb side had no butyl behind it and leaked but the street side has butyl behind it and does not leak. As long as you do not affect moving parts with the sealant it will not matter that it is an "escape" window.
