WDS installation

Hi,

I have an EAZ Lift Elite 1000 lbs.
My question is about the installation of the hookup bracket...
Is it normal that during towing (mostly during turning left/right) that the hookup bracket is moving to the back and front?
I included here the pic of how it looks...

I have seen them move. How tight are the bolts holding the saddle to the frame? You can tighten them up to stop the movement. I have seen some welded to the frame, but I wouldn’t recommend it.

the manual writes, that the bold -holding the bracket in place - may only be turned "hand-tight" + 1/4 turn extra...
So the movement is due to making turns only?
I try not to make turns more then 45°...

As you turn, the distance between the ball and the saddle change. Since the bar is rigid, the chain allows some flexibility, it’s not going to cause any damage if you did install as directed.
