Camping near Dubuque, IA

Hi All... does anybody know of any nice camping spots between Dubuque, IA and Platteville, WI? We are currently looking at an Army Corps of Engineers park called "Grant River Recreation Area" that is on the WI side near Dickeyville. If you have ever stayed at the Grant River Park, we are curious how phone reception / 3G data for AT&T is there as one of the days we're camping my wife is required to work out of the camper and needs phone / data.

Any ideas of campgrounds / RV Parks, or things to do in this area would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Checkout Wyalusing State Park in Wisconsin at the confluence of the Wisconsin and Mississippi Rivers. Electric and nonE sites, great staff, 2 campground areas with the Wisconsin Ridge one being the most scenic...800 foot high bluff overlooking the river valley and Prairie du Chien is beautiful, but your site choice MAY be somewhat limited with that big 5ver. The Homestead area is nice, tho. Lots of hiking trails, canoe rentals.
Prairie du Chien is a short drive, nice mid-size town with a Walmart, the Cannery gift store and Cabela's at the north end of town. Don't know about data access or service provider at the park, cellphone does work on the Ridge 'cause you're so high up but don't know about in Homestead. Culver's in Prairie dC has free wifi. Regards, BGood

Hello there, We have camped at Whitetail Bluff campground in Cassville, WI many times. Nice campground with great food and some hiking trails. My 3G with ATT however was hit and miss. If you were up on the bluff worked great but down in a valley there were some issues.
