What Does a FloJet Pump Do?

what does a flo-jet pump do? I am so new to a lot of this.

well me thinks it's to get the fresh water out of the tanksto the sinks.

As the doctor said, it’s to pump water from your fresh water tank. If you’re not connected to a campground water supply via your fresh water hose, you need to fill your fresh water tank so your trailer has water. The flo-jet provides the water pressure that powers your sink/shower/toilet.

Flojet is a brand name. They make several types of pumps for different applications. They have pumps to move fresh water like the other posters have mentioned but they also make pumps for chemicals, bottled water and macerator pumps (waste disposal).

Just a couple of other names that you might hear about or see along with Flojet would be Shurflo (used a lot in the rv industry) and Jabsco (used more in the marine industry).

Yes. It works just like if you have a hose conected to your trailer except it pulls from a holinding tank.
