Auto level

Hi folks, wife and I and 3 grands are a local getaway. Sunday got parked, freed the fiver from the truck, pressed the auto level to let it do its magic while I offed a few things from the pickup. It finished and turned itself off, I went inside and noticed I’m not quite level, we’re listing a little to the left. Thought we could tolerate it, after a day changed my mind. Thinking I can just press auto level again, it’s showing error code, left jack. Wants me to bring up all 4 jacks would rather not hook up again. Thought I could just reset it, nope. Any thoughts, or just suck it up and go through the process. It’s a 2021 Arcadia 3660 rl with a 4 point Lippert. Thanks, Steve and Terri.

Hi Steve,

Welcome from Connecticut.

I am not familiar with the 4 point system, but my 6 point has a manual override to fine tune your level. It sounds like you may need to re calibrate. Lippert has good directions online.

Good luck,

GC 3.0 requires all the jacks to fully retract to “rehome” them. If you have clearance, you can rehome without hooking back up, I have done it in the shop. Do you have the instructions to rehome?

Hi Chuckster, no I do not, of all the booklets not to get out of there with, it was the lippert leveler, sure did get away from there with the template to mount the kitchen cabinets[emoji6]Only reading the screen it wants me to raise all the jacks. Instructions to “rehome” would be super helpful. Thanks a bunch. Steve

Make sure ALL legs are extended at least 6”. Press retract, hold for 2 seconds and let go. If the legs continue to retract your good. If they stop then you haven’t extended them enough.

When ALL the jacks fully retract the pad should say ready jacks up. Extend the front to about level and then use autolevel.

We’ll Chuckster, just did like you instructed, worked to a T. Now I see the problem. After waiting out the auto level, it showed auto level failed[emoji30] oh well! I must be too low left. Both right Jack’s weren’t touching, both left jacks were maxed out. With one day left we can tough it out. Thanks for the great advice, we all know we can count on ‘“the forum” for helpful advice for almost any problem. Steve and Terri

Although auto-level will sometimes handle campsites like this like a boss, it's not guaranteed to. This was the first time we used ours, and had I known then what I know now, I would have prepped the front end with legos first.

I have started just always using legos. That way will help elimimate any chance of over extending.

Out of stroke error occurs when you have no more leg to extend. You need to put blocks under the legs and possibly the tires. Lippert has a an app called myLCI. Always someone to assist!

Just checked, and apparently not for iOS.

Auto Level

Just jointed up....saw this thread. This happened to me as well, I learned that the trailer has to be within 2 degrees level or an error code might be thrown.

Cougar 30BHS Auto-Level Issue

We have a Lippert auto-leveling system on our trailer. However, our last trip out showed an error on the display. It noted ERROR LF Jack, then the next message said to Manually Retract all jacks. I've done that several times only to have the same messages come up. What can I do to fix this on my own?

Thanks,
Cougar Den

Do you have ground control 3.0 4 point leveling? Extend all jacks at least 6". Press and hold the retract button until it says auto retract and all jacks are retracting then let it go. Don't hold it until they all retract or you'll have to do it over.
