Welcome! Your 3/4 ton payload is overmatched by the 17000 gross weight of the new camper. Fully loaded, the camper has an almost 4K lb pin weight and add your hitch, cargo in the truck and passengers you will be way over your payload capability. Your payload is in the driver door frame on a yellow/white placard. Your camper's payload and what is in the truck is likely double what the truck is rated for. Just pointing this out as we want everyone to enjoy camping in a safe manner.

Welcome to the forum! I assume you feel very welcomed as the weight police lurk close by to make you feel most unwelcome in so many ways. Check out the Alpine Owners Group on Facebook. There is a plethora of information and I have already learned more than I could have imagined in the few short weeks of membership. AND they make you feel very welcomed!
