Front leveling jack replacement

I have 2020 Montana with the 6 jack leveling system the front passenger side jack is leaking hydraulic oil from it. Tried the dealer for some help but got no where and not covered under warranty. I am just going to replace the whole Jack assembly. If I jack trailer up and block it so no weight on jack will there be any hydraulic pressure on the hoses when I remove them ? . Any other advice would be appreciated.

Use a drip pan as there will be some loss of fluid. Make note of which hose goes into which fitting. When done fully extend the front jacks, leave it sit for a minute and then fully retract. Check fluid and do the full extend/retract a few more times. Wait a minute or so between movements in case there is any foaming.

You can also get that Frt LG leg rebuilt if you have a decent hydraulic shop near you..

But I would first check the banjo fitting o ring seal on the top cap.. there are 3 bolts and the one circled has an oring seal underneath it that could be your issue.

Also slightly tighten the other two bolts as well as checking fittings for evidence of leaking
