Hello Everyone

I'm totally new to this type of forum. We own an Alpine 3250RL 5th wheel, purchased recently. It's 2014 and our furnace quit working awhile back. My husband has replaced the thermostat which was bad and new one is good. However the furnace still doesn't work. He found rat dropping, put out poison and eliminated rat. Now the issue is he can't access the furnace. It has a cover that is welded. How can he access it to see if wires were chewed?

Welcome to the forum from a fellow W Texan! Lots of good folks and tons of knowledge here. I've looked at a video and lots of pics but can't seem to see where the furnace is unless it is to the right of the stairs going to the bedroom. Sounds like your husband has located it so not a big deal.

What kind of access is there from outside? Is there just an exhaust coming out the side or is there a panel with an exhaust sort of built into it (single hole). Brand would be beneficial but if you can provide that it will give an idea. What makes him think it is "welded" in place? They can be very resistant to removal.
