tv sound to rv speaker system

so the 07 cougar has the "stereo system" with ceiling speakers. it works with the stereo radio and dvd but I want to have the tv play thru it also. I only have the 3 rca jack wires going into the tv- is there a splitter for these or do I need to cut/splice?

The red/white/yellow patch cables are going from the DVD player to the TV. Confirm by looking at the TV connection as it should say in and the radio should say out where they are connected.

You need a red/white RCA patch cable to go from TV out to radio in. What make/model radio?

Instead of using the crappy rv speakers connect a good sound bar to the tv.

thanks I didn't think about pulling the stereo (Jenson 5000) and checking for more ports for the required patch cables.

I do plan on adding a sound bar but the PO has Bose ceiling speakers in the RV.....

Here's the manual for the radio. Looks like the aux in plug is a 3.5 mm plug.
