Greetings and welcome to the forum!

You are wise to check the RV systems before heading out on your first trip. In fact, many folks suggest spending a night or two camped out in your driveway to help with this.

Enjoy that new Cougar, and travel safe!

The first thing I'd do is check the brand & date codes on the tires, if some "no name" brand & more than a couple years old, replace them regardless of tread appearance, RV tires will age out loooong before you'll ever wear them out. Nothing spoils a trip like a blow out that takes out the side of your "new" trailer.
Welcome to the RV life.
