Third slideout question

Just purchased a 2011 Cougar 30bhs and pulling it with a 2010 5.4ltr F150 with tow package.

Everybody,
Can any of you tell me what the slide seal/facing around the edge of the slideout should look like when closed? It's flush at the top but not sealing down at the bottom. This is my first camper with a slideout and it appears to me that the molding runnining along the trailer should not be under the seal/facing of the slideout? Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Pictures would be really nice too!!!!!!! Thanks in advance!

Charles

The slide should seal evenly from top to bottom and front to rear. The procedure for adjustment is in the Lippert manual. If you did not get one with your trailer they are available on line. http://www.lci1.com/index.php?option...d=54&Itemid=66 If you are still under warranty, I would have the dealer do it. I hope this helps, Hank

Buckrut,
I know exactly what you are talking about. I have that same piece of molding and it interferes with all my slides (except the beed room where there is no molding). It hasn't been a problem and we've done a trip from NY to FL and then back again.

For the life of me I cannot figure out which slideout I have installed on my Sprinter RV Trailer. I have looked at the rails, and there is NO information on them anywhere.

Where should I look now?

I'm not trying to be funny but if you go through the different manuals you can look at pictures to compare. I think yours is called level floor or something similar. http://www.lci1.com/index.php?option...d=54&Itemid=66
