Keyless / keypad entry

3rd trip with the new camper this weekend, and one of the kids managed to break off the key in the deadbolt. Luckily we have a 2nd door on the 2810, but it got me thinking about a keypad/keyless entry system.

Any thoughts/suggestions?

I’ve been using an RVLock on one of my doors for a few months and it is definitely more convenient. They are spendy so I don’t plan to replace the lock on the second door as it doesn’t get as much use.

Love ours too! It’s one of our favorite mods. We bought the same brand (RV Lock) off a reputable seller on eBay for a much better price.

I installed an RVlock V4 today. Install was a snap and setup was easy - all locks are keyed alike now. One thing that was a disappointment though, it has a LOT of plastic. The OEM Dexter handle/lock I removed was completely metal and felt super solid. For $240, why isn't the RVLock metal as much as possible?
