Awning won't close all the way

Electric awning. The front of the rear awning all of a sudden won't close all the way. When you roll it in it bangs and you can see about 1/4" or so of daylight where the arm meets the bracket mounted to the side of the trailer at the very top. I examined it and can't see what is hitting what. Everything looks right. I ran it in and out several times thinking it might just have gotten off center a little, but then why only the front? The back of it closes just fine.

Notes - there was no wind to speak of during the stay. It rained one night briefly and I didn't have the awning all the way out. There was maybe a gallon of water pooled in the awning since it didn't drain off. Looking at the awning while it is out looks like the front is lower than the back. I never noticed this before. Might be an optical illusion. Nothing looks bent or out of whack. The locking knobs are loose.
