Fan chattering on distribution center

My Passport has a WFCO WF-8955 distribution center and has worked well until this last weekend. I noticed a couple times that when the fan was working it was chattering, almost like a bearing inside it was going bad. It only did it once or twice; I couldn't get the noise to replicate it the second night regardless of how many 12V lights I turned on while running on shore power.

We're heading out for an extended trip and want to take care of it if you experts think it is necessary. It is still under warranty, so I might talk with the the distributor about it. A Google search found some images and it looks like the cooling fan may be a standard PC fan which should be easily replaced or even upgraded. I have not removed the unit to look at the back to confirm this.

Has anyone done a fix like this?

BirchyBoy, Howdy;

May have just been some sort of dust ball, or perhaps a bug that thought it
was at the bug version of Disney World. With the fan coming on and using
your DC side of things, don't forget to check the water level in your battery(s),
especially now with the warmer temps.

Thanks for the tip on the battery. I'll check it next time I get it from storage. I'll monitor the sound and see if I hear it again.
