Blowout

This happened on my boat trailer yesterday. Glad it's a tandem axle and my spare had air in it.

Tire monitor

I recently bought a tire temperature and pressure monitoring system that alerts you of a slow or rapid air leak and also monitors tire temperature that could increase if you have a wheel bearing going bad or a brake dragging. I blew a center axle tire on my weekend warrior and it tore a big chunk of the $400.00 fiberglass fender off. If those heavy duty fenders took a hit I could not imagine what would happen to my very thin and flimsy fenders on my new Fuzion Chrome 404. The kit was around $400.00 but I’m also monitoring my duel wheels on the truck even when I’m not pulling. Good piece of mind for me and hopefully prevent any major damage just in case a tire decides to go boom.
