Lippert leveling systems Hyd. Leak. also not leveling

Our new Alpine 3555r was just delivered on Thursday. Everything was great. But then the front half wasn't leveling and leaning slightly. Even when the system said it was level. We did this over and over again. Then the next morning I noticed hyd. fluid on the ground underneath the systems manifolds. It's coming from one hose. Now I know it's a sealed system. I can't back it off and use pipe dope or tape. How can I fix this issue and then get the trailer level? I really could use some good advice with this. I also just downloaded the manual which I didn't get with the trailer.

Yea Lippert is not including any manuals. Call lippert and ask is there an easy fix. It maybe an o- ring. I know it's new but keep them clean and lubed with silicone spray often. I had to recalibrate the level on mine it was off by 1 1/2" From factory.

I have had to replace the orange pressure line from the pump to the manifold due to the hose leaking into the jacket at an end fitting, causing a large bulge. Never did leak, but didn't want to wait for that. Your hydraulic fittings have no gaskets, nor do they have a need for any sealant. The connections are high pressure metal to metal tapered fittings, so you might just get lucky and be able to stop the leak with a wrench, just don't get too crazy trying to tighten it. This would not cause the level problem. Just go to the Lippert site if you don't have a manual, and there should be instructions how to re-calibrate the level system.

You might want to hook the trailer up to your truck. Raise your jacks taking the weight off your jacking system. Then just try tightening the hose. I have found that most the time in working with hydraulics it is the easy things that go wrong. I don't know were your level sensor is but check and see it it has been hit or maybe loose. Then try to re level. Let us know how it goes....

When you zero set the control don't you have to make sure the trailer is level first? The instructions don't mention that.

The trailer should be level before you do the zero setting. Do this by manual mode, according to instructions.

As far as leaks, I think they all do a little bit. Mine had a small leak on the left front leg. I tightened the hose nuts and it seemed to work. Be careful and not over tighten it. I think it's best to do this hooked up to truck and slides in, takes pressure off the hoses. Not sure if that makes a lot sense, but sounds logical to me.
