Issues with 2011 Cougar 5th Wheel trailers?

Hi All,

Currently considering purchasing a very lightly used 2011 Cougar 322QBS 5th wheel.

What I'd like to know are what are some "specific" issues encountered on 2011 Cougar 5th wheel trailer to look for or be aware of?

I am well aware of possible issues such as Lippert Frame Pin Box ...

Thanks

I'd suggest checking the manufacturer site for any recalls -- http://www.keystonerv.com/customer-s...-notifications

I have a 2011 318SAB...had it cross-country 4 times. I've had two issues; the refrigerator died on our first trip. Dometic replaced it when we got to New Mexico (PIA to use coolers for the week in between, sure was glad to have it fixed), but, that isn't a "Cougar" issue. Second issue was the rubber trim strip around the end table came loose; a little rubber cement and all was good. The only recall that I've had with mine concerned the door locks (FIC made) and FIC issued that recall and a free replacement lock set fixed the problem. I never had a problem with the locks, but, I replaced them anyway.

If it is lightly used and looks like it was maintained well, you might have a bargain. We certainly love ours, and all the bashing on Lippert for frames is, IMHO, unwarranted. For the gazillions of frames that they have out on the road, their failure rate is very small and I don't even think about it.
