Tv and blu ray sound via RV speakers

Hi
I searched, so sorry if this has been brought up before. My 268bh has an aux button, with avi cables going to the tv.

I messed with all the tv options, and cannot figure out how to get tv sound thru the ceiling speakers

Thought about buying a sound bar, but am struggling where to mount it. We just want a little better sound than the insignia tv has, so we don’t have to turn it up to 60 to watch a movie.

Thanks
Brian

Sounds like you've pulled the receiver out. Also sounds as if you have an outboard blu ray player since I've not seen any with one.

What DOES work through the ceiling speakers? Can you watch TV and hear it through the ceiling? If not, why not? Look at the wiring, I've rewired every newer trailer I've bought to optimize what was thrown in. Also, if you are using an outboard BluRay player why not run it straight into an HDMI port on the TV?

What brand/model of radio? Only a very few have audio in via RCA cables. Have you tried using a stereo cord from the TV headphones to the aux in on the radio?

I have not pulled the receiver out yet, but I can tell the avi cables are running from it to the tv. The only sounds I hear through the ceiling speakers are from the radio.

The factory AV cables you have going between the stereo and the TV may be for the wrong direction (like for playing DVDs on your TV). I had to add an additional R/L RCA cable from audio out on the TV to aux in on the stereo, then everything was peachy. My rig has a Summit TV and a Furrion stereo.

Pull the receiver it's wired wrong....at least for the way you want it to work; Keystone just plugs "something" into "something" that will accept it. The other possibility (as I think about what you said) is the way you have it set up. I would check the wiring first and......is that blu ray player an outboard unit or what?

the blu ray is stand alone, via hdmi into the tv. I bet your all right, and the r/g/y avi plugs are in wrong. The stereo also has an hdmi input, not sure what its for, ill pull the unit when I have time and report back.

thank you
Brian

What brand and model are the receiver, TV and blu ray player? Goes a long way in trying to figure out what's what. You should be able to wire the TV to the receiver so that the same sound you get from the radio would then go thru the ceiling speakers when the settings were correct.

Find out the model of radio or it’s pure guessing. I have a Samsung smart TVs and I connect the tv optic outlet on the tv via an optical cable to the radio optical in. It’s the best quality source.

Good luck with the TV model if it's a Summit. Not only do their user guides have no presence online, neither does their manufacturer!
