White or blue water hose?

Just curious, do y’all use a white or blue water hose for your fresh water? I’ve watched some videos and they have switched to flex hoses b/c they don’t take up as much room. DH says we need the white so no bacteria will grow???

I presently have a couple of the Camco blue hoses and I've got two of the Zero G Marine/RV hoses on order....two 25' hoses. Drinking water safe.

Nothing magic about the white hoses except "drinking water safe" which many hoses are now as organic gardeners are very picky about the water used on their vegetables. The white just makes it easy for the end user to identify the intended purpose and not confuse with a hose connecting to the black tank clean out and being used to clean off the larger hoses.
For me the blue ZeroG hoses are for fresh potable water, where the green garden hose (stored separately from the drinking water hoses) is for other non-potable purposes.

Ours are the blue camco... use a zero g type hose for black tank flush... so I can store it with the other black tank stuff... but I agree, get what the wife wants.... much better...

Whatever color, just be sure the inner lining is approved drinking water safe. It's also a good idea to use a different color hose for the black tank functions to eliminate any confusion and possible cross contamination.

1) a hose splitter at the main water hookup, with shutoff flip valves
2) white hose off first outlet to city inlet, with camco water filter. I usually never drink the water except brushing teeth etc.
3) one of those expanding hoses off the second outlet for whatever thing i need water for, cleaning feet, washing truck, front cap, filling things up, whatever.
4) outside shower hose(curly blue thing) into black tank flush outlet within the wet bay so i can rinse the tank easily without messing with a ton of other hoses. Also great to use when at a dump station without water. I leave it unplugged from the outside shower when not flushing.
