swapping steel steps for aluminum steps

Has anyone every swapped out their steel folding steps with aluminum folding steps? I am looking to do this, and wanted to know if it is possible, and if so is it a straight swap?

It should be a straight swap. The box where your steps are is a generic layout with several places for bolts.

Kev, we have no idea what RV you might want to install steps. They are NOT all standard, not even close. You will need to measure your existing layout and see if the new steps will fly.
