Sewer

Have a 2010 Sprinter 318 FLS it has a sewer flush on the outside i went and hooked it up and opend the sewer dump and turned water on the problem was the black thing i believe is a backflush vavle? spraying water out the top in the cabnet under the sink so im not sure what this part is called? it will need replaced they probally forgot to winterize it or it just started leaking.

What you are looking at is a vacume breaker and yes it probably froze and split and needs replacing. This is one item on a trailer that alot of people forget to winterize and you end up flooding the bath area. Just replace it and you will be good to go. Happy Campin............Ron

Thanks

Did not flood to bad because i heard it and shut it off quick then tried again and looked to see where it was leaking it was spraying out the top and i will make sure i winterize it so it does not break it agian
