First timers!

My family officially joined the Keystone family this week with the purchase of a 2019 Cougar 29BHS! This is our first camper and we’re looking forward to the great memories that will be made with our growing family.

We had our first shakedown trip this weekend and everything went pretty smooth. We’re enjoying the learning process! This website was a great resource through the buying process and I’m looking forward to contributing. Happy camping!

Welcome aboard, I have been on the site for 8 months and let me tell you they have given me lots of great advice. As a first time owner you need friends with experience and this site has tons of that.

Welcome to the forums. We are first timers too and learned a lot from the wise heads here before we purchased our trailer and truck. I think the advice we got here saved us from making some basic but costly mistakes.

The biggest one was buying sufficient truck to tow our rig. Going from one place to another is a joy for us, not a white knuckle experience as some who have undersized trucks report.

The other advice that has helped mostly, was how to set up the rig with things like TPMS, EMS and water pressure regulator. These things should be seen as essentials for all RV setups. These items can save you more than they cost by avoiding expensive repairs.
