Back up camera installed, trailer is packed.
We are doing some last minute things and Ron has to change the oil in the generator today. All of our necessities are ready. We just need to fill the fridge, get our meds, dogs and other personal needs together tomorrow and we are ready to travel. First stop will be Savannah GA. Then on to the rest of the world!

I just bought a back-up camera and was going to try to install it. I was wondering if you have any tips. I have a Cougar 24RKSWE and I was thinking of putting the back up camera on the back wall above the middle light at the top. My question is did you drill a hole to get the wires through from the camera position to the light? If so was it easy to thread the wire through the hole? What size hole did you drill? I hope your trip goes well. I live in Lakeland as well but here in Washington state. Thank you in advance for the information.

We put the back up camera on the TT not the truck. It's a wireless unit but the camera needs a power source and the upper running lights on the trailer are a good source of power. That way when we tow we have our running lights on all of the time and it powers the camera. We can see behind the trailer and what is in the lane next to us if we need to change lanes. It's a good set up and not that expensive.

Savannah is a great place to start your trip! Skidaway State Park is really nice if that’s where you’re headed. Happy trails.
