I'd Expect Wrinkles at My Age... But???
I pulled the cover off our rig yesterday after storage in a mild CA winter and, to my dismay, found this
(I think you can click the pic for a larger image)
'Twern't like this when I put 'er away. Found no evidence of leaks.
Should I be concerned beyond aesthetics and, if so, any idea of cost to repair/replace?
Thanks for any input you can offer!

Were it me, I'd be concerned enough to have a shop take a look at it. It appears that you have filon nose cap as opposed to another substrate. What could be going on is a leak along the top edge where the rubber roof tucks under the front cap...the result would be a delamination of that front edge leading to the wavy condition you see. Hard to tell from the picture, but, the safe thing to do would be to have an experienced RV shop or body shop take a look at it...
As for cost? Haven't a clue. I understand a really good shop can relaminate the section, but, if I had to guess, the whole front sheet would have to be replaced by 99% of the places that do "repairs"...

Wow! That’s a shocker. How long was it covered in storage? I can’t imagine how that would happen since the wrinkles go against the curvature of the cap. I wonder if that was caused by heat.
As for a cost comparison, when I had my back outside wall replaced due to a crack, it was $1800, mostly covered by insurance. $525 for the shell, another $50 or so for small parts, and the rest for labor. No shipping since the part arrived inside another trailer.

I have a little different theory. It looks to me like something ran in to it. Is that even a possibility?

I am wondering if there is any way you can remove whatever is on the interior front wall to have a look at it from the inside? You might be able to get a better idea of any evidence of leakage and also to see if the same waviness is seen and felt on the inside as well as the outside. I'd check the joint where the front cap meets the roof for signs of cracks or separation along that portion. From the photo, my initial thought is that it is delamination which may or may not spread further. What kind of "cover" are you referring to? A breatheable RV cover? A roof/shed type cover? Tarp?

Nope... never been "run in to". However, I got out the extension ladder and took a look upstairs. There is some MINOR cracking in the rubberized material used to cover the seam between the roof and the front cap. And, upon closer inspection, I found another "bubble" on the left sidewall directly under the aforementioned seam. Lord mercy... if this IS de-lamination I may be in for a rather costly fix. Pi#@*s me off too... since I've always been pretty conscientious about maintenance. Guess I'll call the local fix-it shop and see what they say.
Thanks for the feedback.

My cover is a breatheable canvas type with built in vents.
I still haven't found any evidence of a leak on the INSIDE.

Wow - sorry this happened. I'm going to be even more paranoid (and rightly so) about checking the seals on mine. I guess it's true that you can't check too much, right?
