Baggage Door

Anyone ever replace one? I was going around the block to back into the drive way and my son was opening his car door and the camper caught the door and ripped the door latch. Not a happy camper!! Thought I would ask here before I call the dealer on Mon. Not sure if I should fix it or let the dealer do it...

Baggage door

Hate today it, but it looks like a new door. You will probably have to get it from the dealer even if you want to install it yourself.

Bummer! Unfortunately, those things happen, usually at the worst time.

I’m quite sure that the dealer will just replace it. That’s an easy enough job for you to do once you get the new door. Is the only frame damage on the door itself?

I am assuming that sdayman's suggestion does not infer that the dealer should replace the door at no cost to you.

I know when we were camping in Indiana last year there where all kinds of RV salvage yards, and people that bought over runs that had all kinds of parts like this in all kinds of different sizes, check out on the net.
