2016 Fuzion black water tanks

Good evening to all. Last week I upgraded from a Passport 31RE to a Fuzion 414 TH 5'er that has 2 separate black water tanks. One for the toilet up in the main bathroom, and one for the half bath in the toy box. We camped in the new camper for 4 nights on the way home from picking it up. We never used the rear bathroom. When leaving the campground, I hooked up to the powerflush fitting and flushed the blackwater tank for a few minutes, then came home. Today I just happened to pull the cover to the aft blackwater tank discharge and pulled the handle and couldn't believe I got about 15-20 gallons of fresh clear water out of that tank. I am now assuming when you power flush, both tanks get flushed. Is there a way to isolate the aft tank if it didn't get used? Thanks, Jay.

My Fuzion 371 is the same way, the tank flush hookup does both tanks.

Isolating the rear tank so the rinser doesn't send any water there involves dropping the underbelly and finding the rinser line. The line is 1/2", probably pex. There are valves you can install inline, but then you would need to access it when you wanted to rinse the rear tank. You could cut the underbelly material to make a flap, and then then tape it shut with duct or gorilla tape.

Re: 2016 Fuzion black water tanks

Hi folks. Sorry to resurrect this old thread but is this confirmed? Does the Fuzion 414 single flush valve rinse both black tanks? My previous fifth wheel with two black tanks had a separate flush for each with instructions that the dump valve had to be open when rinsing. I don't see how that is going to be possible with two separate black dump valves that this unit has.

I took the time to map out each drain to each tank and each dump valve handle and each dump outlet but completely forgot to test the flush/rinse and only assumed it was attached to the front black tank.

My 2016 Fuzion is the same way Tank flush does both tanks. As far as the valves being open, it is easy since all the dump lines are plumbed to a single outlet.

If you have separate dump valves, simply get 2 hoses and a Y connector. You can leave the valves closed while running the rinser just remember not to leave them closed for more than 3-4 minutes. You want lots of water in the tank to carry out the solids.

Re: 2016 Fuzion black water tanks

I know I'm over thinking this but at least half of my tank dumps are at Flying J's where with my old rig, I would line up the drain pipe in front of the axles with the sewer, dump, and rinse. I'd then pull up, line up the drain pipe behind the axles with the sewer, dump, and rinse and be off.

With three axles now, the two drain pipes are about 8 to 10 feet apart. With only one split rinse, I can't see an easier way then to line up the center axle with the sewer, then rig a Y pipe(like Chuckster57 said) and two 4 foot sewer hoses(at least) to the Y and another 4 foot from the Y to the sewer. This would let me open both valves together and rinse together.

So, am I over thinking this? Is there a better way to accomplish the Flying J tank dump "dance"(given my setup)?
