Have you checked to see if you have voltage to it?

It worked for a few weeks but doesn't now. I guess I need a multimeter and figure out how to use it.

As stated above check your voltage. Also your rocker switch could be hooped! Smack the light, no joke sometimes it works

Got a meter. No Juice. Gave a ever so slight tug on the wires and the black one came out. I was able to fish the harness from the ceiling, found a usable wire nut, and back in business.

A multi meter is about as handy as a pocket on a shirt....

Set that volt meter to dc volts you should see 12 volts if not switch could be bad if yes light fixture is bad.
