Zap!

So, while hitching up, I kept getting zapped with a surge of electricity. The trailer was still plugged into shore power. I had this problem with a prior trailer and it turned out to be a short in the water heater electric heating element. The heating element seems to be working fine on my Bullet, so I'm wondering if there is a ground problem somewhere. When I disconnect the trailer from shore power, the problem disappears. Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot the problem? I am going to take it back to the dealer for this and a few other things, but as some of you have read from prior posts, I'm not that pleased with the dealer's service department.

I had the same thing happen. The ground prong on my extension cord was broken off, different extension cord fixed the problem.
