Now the numbers work.

Regarding my last post...Do the numbers work?

I traded my 2020 Ram 1500 3.6L with 3.21 gears....

I bought a 2020 F250 XL/STX With FX4 package.
It has the UTT Camera Pro trailer backup assist

7.3L gas with 10 speed 3.55 gears

GCWR 21800
GVWR 10000
RGAWR 6340
FGAWR 5600
Payload 3209
Max towing 14700
Max tongue wt. 1500

If this won't tow a 18 to 20 ft. Travel Trailer....I quit!

That truck has 3209lbs of payload (that max towing number means nothing to you with a rv) so when searching RVs use the GVWR on the drivers side front corner of the RV you're interested in (pay no attention to the dry weight of any rv or any brochure, literature or any numbers the salesman may pull out his hat) multiply that number by .13 (13% of that GVWR) for tongue weight now subtract that number along with approximately 125lbs for the hitch & the weight of everyone/everything in/on your truck since it left the factory from that 3209 payload, if there's some left your good, if not you're overloaded.

Cool truck! I towed a 30'6" TT with my Tundra, just for 3 trips. Yanked it around just fine.

Now!! Now you've got at truck to pull a trailer....maybe even 21 ft.!!

That is a very nice truck and far more capable than the last one, and the payload is about 3 times more. Some thoughts;

With a 3209 you have a nice payload for mid size trailers. My last 3/4 truck had a payload of 3190 as I recall so very close. Coming from your last truck that sounds like a semi....but it's not so always be aware of the weights and how they work. You did a super job when you asked the first time then went and got a very capable truck. Congrats. Now; let us know how that 7.3 does. I watched a towing video of one of those engines and it looked very good so keep us in the loop.
