Are you "pressing the power button to turn the OTA amplifier to off" ????

On the antenna amplifier wall plate, there is a small (almost invisible) button to push. There is a red or green LED that lights when the amplifier is ON. If that LED is on, the amplifier is on and all signals from a cable/satellite dish will be shunted to ground. If you want to watch cable/satellite, push that little button, connect the cable/satellite input, go to the TV menu and select CABLE, then run a channel scan.

In short, if the antenna amplifier is on, the only way you can get the signal to any TV is to bypass the amplifier by connecting a single TV, similar to what you're describing.

Cable threads

We have a new flagstaff and I’ve had same issue with cable we don’t have that loop back and I will take a closer look for amplifier. I always get OTA reception but not cable. Thanks for all tips.

"Always get OTA but not Cable" strongly suggests that your antenna amplifier is on and you never turn it off.

This assumes that your rig did not come with KeyTV, which is a whole other architecture.

Hopefully the Forest River lines have not been infected with KeyTV!

Model genealogies are just not in my wheelhouse, other than the ones I am familiar with from personally owning them. Just two hours ago, DW and I were flummoxed wondering who made the "Hilux" truck in the lane next to us.

I gave up on Dish. Too many splitters I've been told.
We have good internet at our home base so we just stream all our TV now.
