During our full time years we wintered twice in St. Petersburg, both times at Robert’s mobile home and RV Resort.
The location is great and the park has all sorts of daily activities going on.
There is a main entrance with two side entrances taking you to different highways. Once you learn the back roads/side streets it’s super easy to go to the malls or do your daily super market shopping.
Fishing piers are popular and close by. The old Gandy Bridge allows bike riders and fishing and has porter-potties conveniently placed.
In these pictures we were parked in an open FHU site back in the seasonal section. We could wash our tow vehicle free weekly and the trailer once a month.
If you're eligible to enter military bases, MacDill AFB is just across the bridge in Tampa where there are two well maintained 18 hole golf courses and all the amenities expected at a large military complex including a beautiful full service restaurant out on the point near the bay.
Robert’s has golf activities at area golf courses weekly and a monthly tournament at a different setting each time.
It’s a senior park and everything is scheduled around that age group (55+).
