Brakes

Hello, having break issues. My breaks engage with the actuator. They do not engage when using the regular truck breaks. Any ideas?

Citadel- my thought would be an electrical connection possibly at the cable connection to your truck from the trailer. I don't know what pin location the brakes are but using a multi-meter you maybe able to learn if one of the pin locations is dead. There may also be a fuse blown either on the truck or at the junction box where the trailer cable couples to the truck. I know my '15 Outback has a few fuses there.

I'm sure others with far more experience than I will chime in! Good luck!
