Slide Out Malfunction

Good evening,

I am having a problem with my slide outs on my 2004 Everest. Slide outs and landing gears are hydraulic driven. Plugged in to power and have new batteries, the landing gears work up and down as they should. However the slide outs will not open? You can hear the pump but nothing moves? Jammed? Any ideas?

Thanks.

Welcome to the forum

Since all the hydraulics work from the same pump and reservoir, first thing is make sure there is enough fluid in it. After that, it's time to look at the solenoids at the manifold. Do,you know who manufactures the system?

I am not certain of the MFG I will have to look tomorrow, would there be a way to jump across or bypass the solenoid to trouble shoot if one is bad?

If you can find out the brand, there might be a troubleshooting guide on-line.

Does the pump try to run? If so check fluid. If not check electrical. Fuse?

It's already been established that the pump runs, as it operates the Landon gear.

Check the shut off valves on the slide out. There should be one for each slide. Also check the solenoid valve for the slides. Could be electrical to solenoid valve or stuck solenoid.
