5th Wheel Landing Lights

I have a 2011 Outback Sydney 321FRL (which I recently purchased). It has two lights right above the Kingpin assembly which I presume are called Landing Lights. When/how do they come on, is it automatic or is there an on/off switch?

My Alpine has a switch in the battery compartment that turns that LED strip on. Mine is on the left wall of the battery comp.

I had a 2013 cougar that had a switch on the control panel. Funny thing though it wasn’t wired correctly and the leads terminated unmarked at a dual light switch in the hall lol.

What is that switch on the front of the 5th wheel next to the forward compartment door (under the overhang)? This is a picture of your year and model. I have two switches there, one for the king pin light and the other for the front decorative lights.
