If they roost on the rafters, there are ways of discouraging it.

First one I found when searching for “roost deterrent”

We have a bird problem around our pool and deck.
Google "rubber pool snakes" and buy a few. Spread them around the roof of your RV.
They work great for us.

LOL. That's hilarious! As far as what to do about the birds, I have no idea but mine is sitting in the driveway getting crapped on as well, I also wish I knew what to do about it!

We set up an enclosed chicken pin for our new foul feathered girls. It has an enclosed chicken wire roof even. Still wild birds get inside, looking for all that great chicken feed thrown all over the ground. They get in and can't get out, end up flying, crashing into the wire walls, breaking their necks and drop dead. Every day I go out and pick up dead birds.

I don't know if there is good way to get rid of birds. It's part of nature. They will seek out food and shelter and poop on anything under them.

Since your camper is under a roof, maybe you can throw a tarp over the roof of the camper so the birds don't poop all over it sitting in the rafters above?

When birds start attacking the sweet corn, I pull out my shot gun and start blasting in that direction. (I can do that where I live). That gets rid of them pretty quick. I can't blast the chicken pin though. I'm still hoping for eggs someday!

A lot of the methods needed to successfully repel birds can depend on species, number of birds, and environment. There are many deterents, from plastic owls, whirlygigs, flashing lights, nails on resting/roosting spaces to speakers blasting predator bird calls. It's not necessarily a "one solution fits all" scenario.

I say this from my observations and experiences working in the retail and restaurant industry in construction/facilities project managment.

I have an electric line at the top of my carport and the birds build a nest right next to the light fixture in the center and walk up and down the line (about 10' long or so) and crap all over the passenger side of my truck; especially the hood. I put a couple old Chewy boxes across the hood and a couple of pieces of scrap lumber on them so they don't blow away. The missus makes me fill up the bird feeder (well squirrel feeder) every day with oiled sunflower seeds. The bird feeder is up a 9' PVC pipe (never thought the squirrels could get up there) and it is right outside the car port. It is a vicious cycle...

Many years ago (mid 80's) while working late nights at a prison I had a woodpecker that would wake me 3-4 hours after I got in bed by pecking on the side of the house right outside my bedroom. After a couple weeks of varying attempts to chase it away I discovered a pattern as it flew away while I swung a broom or whatever I could get my hands on at the time. Silly bird......the closest house was a 1/2 mile away and many open fields nearby.

I had a problem with robins and sparrows trying to build nests on my porch light. I went to the dollar store and bought some soft rubber toys that look like frogs or snakes. As long as they have big eyes they seem to do a good job of keeping the birds away. Amazon has all kinds of sparkly tape and pinwheels as well.

My neighbor thinks the frog looks silly, but I'd rather have a silly frog on the light than a messy bird.

One real good bird deterrent I learned about is threading old CDs onto an anchored fishing line. It's cheap, and according to the homeowner, it worked a treat.

I plugged in 2 of those ultra sonic pest deterrent devices to help with mice, but it also worked for birds on the roof. They would land & start hopping/dancing around like the roof was hot & fly away. Squirrels would run towards the underneath & suddenly stop just before going under & turn the other way. While sitting outside it was some of our entertainment watching critters avoid our rv.
BTW only once did we ever have a mouse & it fell victim to a snap trap the same night. The benefit was it apparently worked for spiders & ants cause while using it we had neither.
They worked so well I have 2 plugged in the house & 1 in the shed.
The other ultra sonic device we sat out at times looked like a little birdhouse, but was for barking dogs. It was sound activated, they bark it would emit a high pitch sound only dogs could hear, worked good several times where folks with a non stop barking dog parked next to us, the dog would stop barking, tilt it's head side to side & look around like what was that & the neighbors were none the wiser it looked like a birdhouse.

If possible, would you mind posting brand info on the Ultra Sonic Deterrent.
We have pigeons at my place of work, and the only deterrent we have are occasional hawks and owls who do a good job, but leaves the remains behind.

I use a Bird Barrier Spider 360 4 ft https://www.amazon.com/Bird-Barrier-...3d670b6bc&th=1 on the top of my boat to deter them.

We have boat houses up here in Alaska with the same problem. Many people use some sort of netting, like a gill net or orange plastic fence netting. They use it as a "ceiling" so the birds are deterred from perching on the rafters. Works well, just a bit of work to install.

Sorry, they went with the 5er when sold.
I did buy them at Ace Hardware & at the time they only sold that one brand.
At the time we didn't have pets so don't know how it may affect them.

You need to stuff the side and top bracing, I used sheets of bubble wrap and hang shiny pie pans. The pie pans flash and bang and keep them away. I've got a large carport and a barn thats open on both ends and have no problems.
