According to that blue highlighted quote from the recall there are 9979 trucks affected.

Yep, I totally missed the extra year, that is about 624 trucks a month that are affected. So the configuration that this recall is affecting is a bit of a unicorn.

I guess that depends on how many they make a month. I have no idea. Is it 1000 a month or 100,000 a month?

Have any idea what their production rate is per month?

This gets more interesting to me now. The recall also mentions; "...along with incorrect truck camper loading documentation." I have documentation from the factory that shows where the center of gravity of the bed camper should be when on/in the bed of the truck, and then states my F250 is "not recommended" to carry one. So I guess I "may" get a new sticker and a new piece of paper stating something I already know.

Brantel, according to the woman in the plant tour, 1,500 F-150's per day out of Dearborn and about 1,000 per day out of Kansas City (Claycomo) plant. Ballpark figures.

So the recall number for the super duty line is then a drop in the bucket, as they say. Good news for most I suppose.

According to the link below this applies to only to certain 6.7 L diesel models:

https://fordauthority.com/2021/02/20...d-information/

"Ford Motor Company is recalling select 2020 Ford Super Duty vehicles equipped with Ford’s 6.7L Power Stroke diesel due to overstated payload capacity values on the tire and loading information label, overstated accessory reserve capacity values on the safety certification label, and overstated weight values on the truck camper loading documentation."

Let's hope it is a small correction our fellow members are still in good shape.

Well if talking the KC plant and assuming a 20 day work month, 624/20,000 = .0312 or just over 3%

If assuming both plants doe a 20 day work month 624/ 50,000 = .01248 or a tick over 1%

Superduty trucks are not built in KC. They are built in Louisville, KY and Avon Lake, OH. I haven't seen any posted production numbers for those plants nor has Ford identified which plant (or both) the affected trucks come from.

Anyway, the KC and Dearborn numbers are for F150 (not superduty) production. I'd guess the reason those locations got included in the conversation was because of the "windshield adhesive recall" which affects both F150 and superduty trucks, since they use the same basic cab shell.

The GVWR recall applies only to F250 Superduty trucks, built either in Kentucky or in Ohio, not in Michigan or Missouri.

I threw the F150 numbers out there because Brantel asked about how many were made per day. The Louisville/Ohio plants make a number of items, only three of which we're interested in here and they seem to lump-sum their numbers. And nobody I know gives a rat's patoot how many Lincoln Navigators are made in a day. Truth be known, probably none of us have ever ridden in one.
